The San Francisco 49ers officially opened Levi's Stadium on Thursday, hosting a ribbon cutting a little over two weeks before the first official event featuring the San Jose Earthquakes and Seattle Sounders FC. The event drew plenty of media, which means there were pictures, video, and so much more. Up above I've posted a gallery of 22 photos from the event. It included the ceremony itself, plus a tour of the stadium
There was plenty of social media content related, so I thought I'd drop some of that in here. Media and players alike had plenty to say and show from the event.
