Fooch's Update - Ian Rapoport had more details:
Got details of #49ers T Joe Staley’s complex extension: Adds 2 option years for a total of $18.8M. Can be worth $23.2M if he hits incentives

#49ers must decide Joe Staley’s $6M 2018 option on 4/1/15. They decide his $4M 2019 option on 4/1/16. Base salaries for both years: $4.8M

On Thursday, the San Francisco 49ers announced that Joe Staley had signed a 2-year contract extension. Albert Breer has the first details of the extension, but we're still waiting on the full numbers. Here is what Breer had to say:
2-year extension on 49ers LT Joe Staley's deal adds $12M to existing 4 years. $6M bonus added in '15, $4M bonus in '16, $2M raise in '17.

The lack of new money in 2014, would seem to indicate Staley's 2014 cap figure will remain $3.4 million. Cam Inman reported as much, pointing to the NFLPA salary cap report. The NFLPA salary database has not been updated yet, so we don't know his 2018 and 2019 salaries. Additionally, we don't know what kind of guarantees were added to this deal.
Based just on Breer's tweet, this would seem to involve Staley betting he will remain healthy. Unless of course any of those bonuses were guaranteed by the team. At some point that information will leak out. We don't have full contract details, but for now, here is a look at what the contract looks like with these additions. We'll keep an eye out for more.
