Golden Nuggets: Levi's Stadium gets proper football debut as Broncos come to town

Sunday, August 17, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning ladies and gents. Today, the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Denver Broncos in a game that would make me nervous if it were a regular season matchup. Fortunately, this is the second preseason game, so it's much more individually focused. Yesterday, I wrote about the things I'm looking for (you know, other than the 49ers not sucking, the Broncos sucking and no injuries) so be sure to check that out if it sounds interesting (it totally is).

Anyway, I think what's far more interesting than a preseason game is the football debut for Levi's Stadium. I won't be able to afford a ticket there for many years but I hope to make it out to a couple games with a snazzy press pass. Today's game won't be one of them, but it will still be cool to see on TV with actual football being played in it, ya know?

Onto the links. Go Niners.
