Good morning everyone. Day eight of training camp was easily to most heated practice of this year, maybe even the entire Harbaugh era. First, Chase Thomas and Jewell Hampton threw down after Lawrence Okoye (!) blew up a running play. Later on in practice, Anquan Boldin felt that Darryl Morris was a little too physical and hit him in the face mask. Jim Harbaugh was having none of it, because he actually threw Boldin out of practice after the scrap.
Before practice even began though, we got some bad news on the injury front. Michael Crabtree and Brandon Lloyd both have fairly minor injuries that are going to need a week or two to heal up. Normally this wouldn't be too big of an issue, but after the injuries to our backs, we can't really afford to have too many more offensive players go down. Later on in practice, the injury bug just kept piling on when Glenn Dorsey left practice with an arm injury. We don't yet know the severity of the injury, but Ian Williams is not yet ready to return. Nose Tackle could be a legitimate concern if we lose Dorsey, here's hoping this is nothing too serious. Now lets get to those links.
