Good morning ladies and gents. There's a distinct possibility you guys will be reading this post on time today, as I'm writing the Golden Nuggets rather early. I'd like to say it's because I've discovered a sudden passion for doing things in a timely fashion to display my professionalism, but it's actually because I will be quite drunk at the time I usually get around to said Nuggets.
Today, the San Francisco 49ers take on the San Diego Chargers in the third preseason game of this exhibition season. They've had two miserable showings thus far and our line has been simple: it's just the preseason. That doesn't totally change today, but it does get a little bit less valid given that this game should see the starters an awful lot more. I still doubt Jim Harbaugh will let them team utilize anything remotely close to an actual playbook, but the things that happen today should actually kind of matter.
If I've missed some important links, be sure to post them in the comments for your fellow reader, since I'm doing these early. Enjoy, folks.
