The San Francisco 49ers will kick off at 1 p.m. PT, which means players are out warming up and checking out the field. The 49ers installed new turf Thursday and Friday, which means players will need to figure out what it means come game time.
Phil Dawson was reportedly out kicking three and a half hours before the game, and other players have since made their way out. Cam Inman and other beat writers tweeted out some pictures and thoughts on the subject. It will be interesting to see how the field looks in the third and fourth quarter after a few marches back and forth. Well, we're hoping the 49ers do some marching on it!

One #49ers player gave new sod a thumbs down when I asked how it is in warmups, adds it is better than Wednesday turf & "it's getting there"

#49ers said seams would be apparent on the newly installed field, and they were right. The team said it wasn't a safety concern.

A handful of players on the field. They don't appear too focused on field conditions as they go about their typical stretching etc. #49ers

Indeed, there is a grass field in place. #49ers pic.twitter.com/9eGPbZS3gp
