San Francisco 49ers roster cuts 2014: Official moves announced with 53-man roster in place

The San Francisco 49ers officially announced their final roster cuts on Saturday, which means the 53-man roster is set for now. Here is a full list of the 49ers roster moves. It's safe to say my final 53-man roster projection was just a little bit off.

The players released today with less than four years of accrued service (a large majority of the players) will go through the waivers process. Teams can place claims until 9 a.m. PT on Sunday. At that point, waivers is run with the Houston Texans holding the No. 1 spot, the Seattle Seahawks at the bottom with No. 32, and the 49ers holding No. 30. It will be interesting to see just how many

For now, here is the 49ers roster. We can probably expect Glenn Dorsey to be placed on the injured reserve with return designation, at which point the 49ers will be able to sign another player. Beyond just that roster move, I would not be surprised if we see other moves.
