The San Francisco 49ers official 53-man roster is set. It's final and it cannot be changed for the remainder of the season. These are the guys who wi-- oh wait, nevermind. It absolutely can be changed, and it will. Still, the 53-man roster cut down is essentially the "hey guys football is about to happen" signal for me, so I'm incredibly excited. I'm still bummed out that all those players were cut but that's just the reality of the game, I suppose.
In one week, the 49ers will play the Dallas Cowboys in the season opener. There could not be a more perfect matchup for San Francisco's offense to really get going and show the rest of the league that they can, you know, complete a pass or two. Dallas isn't a bad team by any means, but that defense is definitely exploitable. How excited are you guys?
