Greg Roman met with the media following the San Francisco 49ers Tuesday practice session, and naturally, he got a question about whether or not Frank Gore would play on Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Greg Roman said he isn't sure whether RB Frank Gore will play Thursday night.

I'm guessing Roman has a pretty good idea what kind of Frank Gore will get on Thursday. And if he does not, I'm willing to offer some friendly advice to Coach Roman and the rest of the 49ers coaching staff

DO NOT PLAY FRANK GORE
This shouldn't be difficult, right? The 49ers are a bit short-handed at running back, but there is pretty much nothing to be gained by playing Frank Gore. Sure, he could get injured during the season anyway, but I'd rather he just get to said regular season in one piece. The 49ers can get a good, long look at Carlos Hyde, and then let Jewel Hampton, Alfonso Smith, and Glenn Winston get all sorts of time against the four defenses they will face over the next four weeks.
It really is quite simple, but one more time in case anybody missed it the first time.....
