NFL preseason 2014 tv schedule for Saturday: It's Johnny Football time

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

The first full week of preseason action comes to a close this evening with four games. We've got one national game with the Cleveland Browns hosting the Detroit Lions on NFL Network. Here is the full schedule for Saturday

Cleveland Browns vs. Detroit Lions - 4:30 p.m.
New York Giants vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - 4:30 p.m.
Tennessee Titans vs. Green Bay Packers - 5 p.m.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Houston Texans - 5:30 p.m.

It is no surprise Browns-Lions is getting the NFL Network treatment. Johnny Manziel makes his professional debut, and is expected to get some time with the first string offensive line. I wouldn't be surprised if this game did decent ratings.

Among 49ers regular season opponents, the New York Giants host the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Arizona Cardinals host the Houston Texans. We won't find out a whole lot of much today, but if you get a chance to watch either game, future matchup scouting is at least one reason to watch.
