The San Francisco 49ers make their home debut in Week 2, opening up Levi's Stadium for its first ever regular season football game. The stadium will be in the national spotlight as the game will be on Sunday Night Football. The two teams will kick off at 5:30 p.m. PT on NBC. The SNF broadcast means we get Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth in the booth, with MIchele Tafoya on the sideline.
Game Time: 5:30 p.m. PT
Announcers: Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, Michele Tafoya
Live Online Stream: NBCSports.com
Most people in the US will have no trouble watching the game on NBC, but one of the big upsides to the SNF broadcast is that NBCSports.com will live stream it as well. It is the one regular season game each that is regularly broadcast online for free. Additionally, NBCSports.com offers up a variety of angles to watch the game. Even if you are watching on TV, I recommend checking out the online broadcast just to see some of the many angles.
If you are outside the US, we're back once again to help figure out how you can watch the game. As this is the Sunday Night Football broadcast, there will be plenty of international viewing options. As usual, if you know how the game will be broadcast in your corner of the world, post the details in the comments.
Canada: The game will air on TSN (A Rouge Point).
United Kingdom: Channel 4, NFL Game Pass (per NFL UK).
Armed Forces Network-Europe: The game will air on AFN Sports.
Far East: Our friends at All Sports Network TV will broadcast the game live at 8:30 a.m. Hong Kong time. The broadcast will appear throughout Southeast Asia. Check out their map if you live out there.
