The first half of Week 2 Sunday action gets underway at 10 a.m. PT with some fun morning matchups. The San Francisco 49ers do not play until Sunday Night Football, which means we get the morning and afternoon games to try and relax a little bit.
The morning schedule features kind of a random mix of games. The NFC West has one game with the Arizona Cardinals traveling to face the New York Giants. The Giants looked atrocious at times last week against the Lions, while the Cardinals slipped away with a win against the Chargers. I think the Cardinals pull away with the win here, but this should be a close one.
I think Atlanta vs. Cincinnati is one of the more intriguing matchups of the morning. The Falcons pulled off a huge home win against the Saints last week. I don't know that they beat Cincinnati on the road, but if they can hang close, I think more people will start to buy into the Falcons. The same could hold true for Lions vs. Panthers. These are a pair of 1-0 teams that still have something to prove in spite of Week 1 wins.
Here is your full AM schedule. We'll have a new thread at 1 p.m. for the afternoon games. That will be followed by the inactives at around 4 p.m. PT, and then an open thread for 49ers-Bears! It's almost happening!
