Week 3 of the 2014 NFL season comes to a close on Monday as the New York Jets host the Chicago Bears. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT on ESPN. It features a pair of 1-1 teams looking to hang steady in their respective divisions. A Jets win would move them into a first place tie with the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. A Bears win would move them into a first place tie with the Detroit Lions.
The 49ers only interest in this game is the Bears. They won't face each other in the regular season, but the Bears are a playoff contender. Depending on what the 49ers do to get things turned around, these two teams could be battling for a wild card spot. There's a long way to go before we know what this all means, but it is something to keep in the back of our heads.
