The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles each released their first injury report for Week 4, and there is some good news for the 49ers, as expected. Right tackle Anthony Davis and tight end Vernon Davis were both back on the practice field. Both sat out practice last week, but Wednesday brought some positive signs. We don't know for certain that either will play, but the 49ers release of Asante Cleveland is a good sign for Vernon.
Tramaine Brock and Vance McDonald remain sidelined. Patrick Willis was wearing a brace according to Matt Maiocco. Frank Gore is on the list for his back, but he was a full participant, so this is likely not something to worry about. Marcus Martin was apparently on the field for warmups, but then went off to do more rehab work. I would not expect him to be back practicing for another week or two, if not more.
For the Eagles, Mychal Kendricks remains sidelined with a calf injury. If he does not get back on the practice field, I suspect he is listed as questionable and does not play.
