It is not a surprise, but according to media listening to pre-game introductions, Anthony Davis will get the start at right tackle in Week 4 for the San Francisco 49ers. Davis sat out the first three weeks of the season with a hamstring injury. He had missed all four preseason games while recovering from shoulder surgery. He made his return to practice at the end of the preseason, but it is likely his lack of activity led to the hamstring injury.
The 49ers have to be pumped to have their veteran right tackle back in the lineup. Jonathan Martin struggled with consistency, but more importantly, the return of Davis solidifies the nasty attitude on the right side of the 49ers line. Alex Boone returned, and now Davis joins him. The 49ers offensive line has struggled out of the gates, but for the first time this season we see the planned starting lineup. We'll see if it settles them down.
