49ers vs. Cowboys injury report: Michael Crabtree returns, Anthony Davis still absent

The 49ers and Cowboys released their Thursday practice participation reports. We take a look at each of them as their Week 1 matchup approaches.

The San Francisco 49ers released their Thursday practice participation report, and as discussed earlier, Michael Crabtree was back on the field. He was listed as a limited participant. Crabtree said prior to practice that his calf injury was minor, and he expected to play on Sunday.

Anthony Davis once again did not participate. I overlooked this yesterday, but Davis is listed as having a hamstring injury. He missed most of training camp while rehabbing from shoulder surgery. Given how much time he missed, a hamstring injury is probably not the biggest shock. It remains to be seen if he will be good to go in time for Sunday's game, but it would seem his shoulder at least is good to go.

There were two additions this time around. Chris Culliver (ankle) and Vance McDonald (hamstring) were both limited participants. Jim Harbaugh said on Wednesday that there would be very little information coming out about injuries other than the injury report, so don't expect much on either of these. Although, I'm sure the media will ask on Friday.
