Good morning ladies and gents. The 2014-15 NFL season officially got underway on Thursday, and ... it was kind of a crummy game. The Seattle Seahawks dominated the Green Bay Packers, which sucks on its own, but it was a sloppy game. I might have just been underwhelmed because I find it hard to care about football that doesn't include the San Francisco 49ers. Maybe it was a totally fine game and I'm just a jerk.
Whatever the case, the NFC West is officially a battle, and the Seahawks sure did look good notching their first win. That defense is, as expected, as good as it gets. Of course, that's just one game and they could easily come crashing back to Earth ... right? Right? Hopefully, the 49ers can come out and walk all over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday to make a statement of their own ... not that the Cowboys are as good as the Packers or anything, but it would be nice.
