How much will we see Colin Kaepernick scrambling this season?

49ers QB Colin Kaepernick will always be dangerous with his legs, but will we finally see a 100-yard game in the regular season? Or will the passing game dominate?

I get random odds information sent my way, covering Super Bowl odds, win totals, and player awards prop bets, among other things. Recently, I got a look at some individual player prop bets of note. The most interesting as a 49ers fan dealt with Colin Kaepernick's rushing prowess. Odds Shark has put together a list of prop bets from Sportsbook.ag, and this was my favorite:

C Kaepernick (SF) to Rush for 100 Yards or More in Any Game - 3/1

You can get 3-to-1 odds on Kap rushing for 100 yards or more in a single game. Last season, Kap had one game with 100+ rushing yards. That just so happened to be his final game when he rushed for 130 yards against the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. His only other 100+ yard performance was the 2013 divisional round against the Green Bay Packers.

Is it a sucker bet to think he'll rush for 100+ yards in a game this season? He has yet to rush for 100 yards in a regular season game, but if he takes that next step this season, could we see him take his rushing to another level? On the other hand, he has all sorts of weapons in the passing game, so maybe his passing totals are the only thing that really go up. With his foot apparently healed from last year's early season, maybe he has more of that late season confidence that boosts the run game.

I don't really know for sure at this point, but I'm tempted to drop $50 on Kap with those odds.
