It's football time!!! After an offseason of nonsense, and preseason that was just sort of meh, the San Francisco 49ers finally get back on the field in a game that actually matters. And it's fitting that they open the season against a long-time rival like the Dallas Cowboys.
The 49ers are ranging between 3.5 and 4.5 point favorites in this game. The line climbed as high as six points, but it has come back down with more money coming in on the Cowboys. It is not surprising the public is betting heavy on the Cowboys, but I think the nation is underestimating the 49ers. They've suffered some setbacks to their starting lineup, but this is a team with a lot of depth. Today, we'll start to find out exactly how much.
