This team has completely abandoned Jim Harbaugh. He has lost control of the locker room. Wait, they scored a TD without the offense touching the field? The offense drove almost 80 yards in less that a minute and a half for another touchdown? They forced 4 turnovers by this high powered offense? Can Harbaugh lose the locker room every week if this is what happens? The 49ers beat the Cowboys in the first half of Sunday's game with the help of opportunistic defense, efficient offense, and a little help from Mr. Tony Romo.

There were a few positives and negatives in the game. Anquan Boldin is a 3rd down machine. Every important 3rd down seemed to be converted by him. Harbaugh once said Crabtree had the best hands he's ever seen, but I think Boldin may have him beat. He catches everything. Carlos Hyde seems like the real deal. He runs hard! Really hard. He runs so hard that it knocked LaMichael James off the team. James was released today from the team. A big part of that decision has to be the performance of Hyde. He scored his first of probably many TDs Sunday. Kap was efficient and showed his playmaking ability. His play to avoid the rush and launch a TD to VD after almost being tripped up shows his rare ability. After his rough preseason, it was good to see him get off to a good start to the season.

The negatives weren't many. Ahmad Brooks had a horrendous start. Two hand to the face penalties and an offside penalty started his season. One 3rd down play, he missed a tackle in the backfield that the RB turned into a 1st down. He will forget this game and play better no doubt. The rush defense didn't have the best game either. Giving up 100+ yards isn't what we are used to seeing from this team. No doubt that will be fixed soon.

Other than that, it was a great start for this team on the downhill according to some people. On to the links!
