The San Francisco 49ers seem to be getting closer and closer to hiring Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase as their next head coach. There was the Denver radio station report this morning, and now the Bay Area FOX station is reporting a deal is imminent. Of course, Mike Klis is also reporting Gase spoke with John Elway Wednesday morning about the Broncos head coach job. It could be a bit more last minute drama, or it could be a basic leverage ploy. We don't really know.
Fooch's update:
According to mulitiple sources, Gase has no deal with SF just yet. Broncos making a last-ditch effort to discuss the job.

We've had a ton of updates on this situation as rumors and news have dropped the last two weeks. While the official news may come soon, it very well could continue dragging on. With that in mind, I thought I would open up a more general thread for this discussion. We'll continue with the updates, but with this thread you can discuss a little bit of everything.
