Another head coaching domino has fallen, and it has some impact on the San Francisco 49ers. According to multiple local and national reports, John Fox has agree to become the next head coach of the Chicago Bears. The 49ers will travel to Soldier Field this season to face the Bears. The 49ers list of opponents for 2015 includes two teams that will have a new coach: Chicago and Atlanta.
Fox brings an extensive defensive background to the Bears, which will be welcome given their defensive struggles lately. Of course, the offense has its own set of question marks, so much like the 49ers, it will be interesting to see who John Fox puts in charge of his offense. Whomever that is will have a lot of weapons to work with, but they'll need to get them operating just a little bit more consistently than we have seen in recent years. They can do some great things, but not nearly often enough it seems.
The 49ers opponents for 2015 will include:
Home: Falcons, Ravens, Bengals, Packers, Vikings, Cardinals, Rams, Seahawks
Away: Giants, Steelers, Browns, Bears, Lions, Cardinals, Rams, Seahawks
