When the San Francisco 49ers first hired Jim Timsula as head coach, one of the early names mentioned as a potential offensive coordinator was former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman. He has not been mentioned since, and now he is officially off the market:
The Ravens have hired former Chicago Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman as the team’s offensive coordinator.

The Ravens lost their own OC when Gary Kubiak left for the Denver Broncos head coach position following John Fox's firing. In the wonderful world of musical chairs, Fox moved on to take over the Chicago Bears head coach position vacated by Trestman. You can't make this stuff up.
The San Francisco 49ers have requested permission to interview Indianapolis Colts special assistant Rob Chudzinski, and have been connected to Mike Shanahan and Lane Kiffin. Trent Baalke is in Mobile, Alabama at the Senior Bowl, while Jim Tomsula remains back in the Bay Area (Jim Harbaugh did not go to the Senior Bowl, either). It will be interesting to see how quickly a decision is made.
