It seems everyone is all up in arms about Deflate Gate or whatever it is they're calling this time the New England Patriots cheated. Naturally, there are equally as many people who couldn't care less and I count myself in that category as well. Did the Patriots cheat? Probably. Should they be punished? Probably. But I'm struggling to bring myself to care about the whole thing, given that the rest of the league isn't exactly a bastion of integrity.
Whatever the case ... I suppose we should talk a little bit about the San Francisco 49ers. I'm starting to care about what happens to the coaching staff even less than I care about the Patriots stuff. I like Jim Tomsula, but I'm worried about the reasons they hired him. I'm not at all a fan of Eric Mangini -- I think he's the worst aspect of this whole offseason by far -- and I think he could have been hired for the same reasons as Tomsula. In other words, I'm a little scared.
I wish I could hit fast forward and just get to next season so I can see if this is going to be a huge train wreck or not. Oh well, I suppose I'm along for the ride whatever the case ... onto your links, folks.
