2015 Pro Bowl: Game time, TV schedule, online stream, rosters, more for the worst football game of the year

Welp, it's Pro Bowl day! I'm sure your veins are flowing with excitement. We break down game time and online streaming details, as well as the rosters and pertinent rule adjustments for the game.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

It's Pro Bowl day! Try to contain your excitement at the thought of one more game featuring a couple members of the San Francisco 49ers. I don't think I know anybody who has ever watched the Pro Bowl from start to finish, although I imagine someone at SB Nation is doing that. I feel for whomever that might be.

For those that do plan on watching, the game kicks off at 5 p.m. PT, and will air on ESPN. We get the normal Monday Night Football crew for the game, so at least we get some potential Jon Gruden amusement. He is so overwhelmingly positive about players, and while this game features a lot of great players, it is hard to get overly excited for it. We'll see if that ends up being an issue for even Gruden.

The 49ers are represented by Joe Staley and Antoine Bethea, both of whom will be playing for Cris Carter's team. Staley was the second left tackle taken, so I have to think he'll be in the starting lineup. Bethea was the second to last player chosen, so it remains to be seen if he will start ahead of Donte Whitner. They were selected along with free safety Glover Quinn. I imagine Quinn will get the free safety start, and then the coaching staff will decide between Bethea and Whitner.

This year's Pro Bowl once again features some tweaks to the rules. The goal posts will be narrower, and they will be lowered for extra points. The league will have the extra points kicked from the 15-yard line, instead of the 2-yard line. Teams will have two timeouts per quarter, instead of three per half. These rule changes follow last year's fairly drastic changes. There are no kickoffs, with the ball place on the 25-yard line. When two minutes remain in each quarter, if a team runs a play that gains no more than one yard, the clock will stop. Prior to two minutes remaining, the game clock will start after incomplete passes. Finally, the ball will change hands after each quarter, and not just at the start of the third quarter.

Here is a rundown of the broadcast information, and then full rosters for Team Carter and Team Irvin.
