The two Super Bowl participants arrived in Arizona earlier this week, which means the media frenzy is in full force. Players and coaches are available each day, and "Media Day" took place Tuesday afternoon. Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett was speaking with a Seahawks columnist, and had a randomly interesting comment.
Michael Bennett, a QB as a kid, says he is still as good "as some of these guys in the NFL." Compares himself to Blaine Gabbert.

I'm not entirely sure what to make of that given what little we saw of Gabbert this season. He entered the San Francisco 49ers ugly loss to the Denver Broncos, and was 3 of 7 for 38 yards and a touchdown. He is a free agent after the 49ers acquired him via trade last year.
The team has Colin Kaepernick as their starting quarterback, but no real idea what to make of the backup situation. Maybe they can convince the Seahawks to give up Bennett. Then the 49ers can play him on the defensive line and have him serve as emergency quarterback. That seems reasonable!
