Super Bowl prop bets 2015: Full list of prop bets for Seahawks-Patriots

The Super Bowl is two days away, which means it is time to get serious about my prop bets. Super Bowl 49 will be the most heavily wagered sporting event in 2015, so why would I NOT take part?

While most people will look to stick with a basic bet on the winner, the prop bets are where the real fun is at. Some seem a little too good to be true, and I suppose that is where the sportsbooks get you. That being said, I am going to put down a handful of wagers to add a little extra excitement to what could be a very entertaining Super Bowl.

Down below I have posted an extensive list of prop bets from Bovada.lv. It is not every single prop, but it is a sizable chunk. To view all of their prop bets for Sunday, click HERE.

I am still sorting through some of my options, but I have a few prop bets already in mind. I definitely want to hit up the first to score a touchdown wager. I mentioned it before, and right now I am inclined to place a little money on each of Marshawn Lynch (11/2), Rob Gronkowski (13/2), LeGarrette Blount (9/1) and Michael Hoomanawanui (50/1). Hoomanawanui has four touchdowns in his career, one last year and three in 2010. However, he has gotten a lot of snaps the last two playoff games, so we'll see if he scores.

I am probably going to put some money on Bill Belichick wearing a blue hoodie. Someone actually put together a spreadsheet of his hoodie history, and 2014 has been the year of the blue hoodie. He has mixed in some grey, but he has worn blue the last two weeks, and you can actually get decent odds compared to grey.

I will be betting on the UNDER of the national anthem. It is set at 2:01, which is how long it took Idina Menzel to sing it at the MLB All Star Game. Seven years ago she sang it in 1:34 at the Patriots-Giants Week 17 matchup. I don't expect it to go nearly that short, but I'm thinking it goes UNDER.

Tom Brady total passing yards are set at 260.5 yards. I am leaning toward the under in this one. I think the Seahawks win the game, and that could potentially lead to more yards, but I think the Seahawks strong ground game will enable them to chew up clock. And given the Seahawks strength in the secondary, I think the Patriots try and establish the ground game with LeGarrette Blount.

Any other thoughts on prop bets I should consider?
