The wild card round of the 2015 NFL playoffs wrap up Sunday afternoon as the Dallas Cowboys host the Detroit Lions. The game kicks off at 1:40 p.m. PT on FOX. If Dallas wins, they advance to face the Green Bay Packers. If Detroit wins, they advance to face the Seattle Seahawks.
The Cowboys are a 6-point favorite, with the total set at 48 points. I am not expecting much in the way of defense in this game. Both teams have big names on defense, but I fully expect a shootout. Of course, for Detroit, this all could come down to whether or not Matthew Stafford implodes. Their offense can put up huge numbers, but once in a while Stafford can put together an ugly performance. This season, he seemed to lessen those ugly showings, but the possibility is still there.
Both teams have put together talented rushing attacks, although Dallas took theirs to a ridiculous level. DeMarco Murray stayed healthy, and he benefited from a ridiculously good offensive line. Tony Romo did as well, and they will go as far as their line takes them.
