Golden Nuggets: What Is Kap Going To Do

This season was a rough one for Colin Kaepernick. It started with the sexual allegations in Miami during the offseason. When the season started, the Niners had Super Bowl ambitions. With the run of success they had and the team assembled, it wasn't hard to see why they were a favorite pick to win it all. Colin received a contract that could be worth quite a bit of money. It was looking good for Kap and the Niners.

And then the season started. Injuries mounted up. The offensive line couldn't protect Colin. He was sacked often. He wasn't making the plays that we were used to seeing. HIs accuracy faded. His receivers lost their hands and dropped passes. The team ended 8-8 and questions have risen about Colin's future as Niners QB.

A report today says that Colin has decided to have a different offseason than he's accustomed to. Instead of going to Miami and working out with close teammates, he has decided to work with a QB coach and Kurt Warner in Arizona. They want to work on his film study and other mental aspects of the game. A few of his teammates and potential draft picks will be down there to work out with him. He needs to have a bounce back season next year. He's taking the initiative to do just that.
