The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice on Thursday, with a 2:40 p.m. PT session. Vernon Davis missed practice on Wednesday, so we will be looking to see if he is back in action. He is dealing with a knee injury from the Cardinals game. NaVorro Bowman got a veteran's day off, but other than that, all other Wednesday injury listings were "full participation".
Thursday's practice will be preceded by coordinator press conferences and locker room availability. Defensive coordinator Eric Mangini and offensive coordinator Geep Chryst will meet with the media at 11:45 a.m., followed by player availability from 12-12:45 p.m. The coordinator press conferences should be streamed live by CSN Bay Area, and you can watch it above. You can also check it on 49ers.com/live. We'll have transcripts later in the day and into tomorrow.
As always, we have the 49ers media Twitter list below if you can't watch the press conference. Both coordinators will get questions about the problems of Week 3, but I would not expect much detail in response. The passing game and offensive line were a mess. On defense, the pass rush was inconsistent and the secondary scheme seemed pretty questionable. We'll see what Geep Chryst and Eric Mangini have to say.
