We're back for Week 6 of Thursday Night Football! The NFC South is on display as the New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons, with the game set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. PT on CBS. I believe NFL Network will be simulcasting the game, but if you have a TV, you can just enjoy this on CBS.
The Falcons squeezed out a tough win over Washington this past week to remain undefeated through five weeks. They are 5-0 with four of their wins requiring fourth quarter comebacks. They blasted Houston in Week 4, but otherwise have had to scratch and claw for wins. They face a Saints team that is 1-4 and in a lot of trouble. Drew Brees got over a shoulder injury, but the offense is just not fully clicking. Brees has made some plays, but they can't find any consistency. I am guessing they would not mind having Jimmy Graham on the roster.
The Falcons are a three point favorite, marking the first time they have been favored in New Orleans since November 2012. The Falcons have covered four of the last five games between these two, and is 17-8 ATS in the last 25 games at the Superdome. In spite of the two potentially prolific offenses, the UNDER is a decent bet on the point total (51). The two teams have gone UNDER in four of the last five matchups. The Falcons have gone UNDER six of their last eight, while the Saints have gone UNDER in four of their last six.
