49ers-Ravens picks and predictions: National media likes 49ers this week

The San Francisco 49ers travel to face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6, and opinions are mixed on this. We run down various predictions for the game.

We're back for another week of the 2015 NFL season. The 49ers have now dropped four straight, and prepare to face John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. The Ravens are 1-4, but have lost their four games by a combined 17 points. The 49ers, on the other hand, have the worst point differential in the league thanks to blowout losses to the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Week 6 is underway, with the New Orleans Saints knocking off the unbeaten Atlanta Falcons. The Saints jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, and never let up. Devonta Freeman had another big game, but a couple fumbles cost the Falcons. That is the appetizer for Sunday's main course. The 49ers kickoff against the Ravens at 1:25 p.m. PT at Levi's Stadium. The game will air on CBS.

Once again, it is time for more predictions for Sunday's game. I posted the Week 6 prediction contest thread, so you can get all of your picks in there, but we can focus on 49ers-specific picks in here. The 49ers are a 2.5-point underdog at home against the Ravens. The 49ers have lost four straight, but did manage to cover against the Giants. So, they got that going for them, I suppose. I'm going to go with a prediction of 49ers winning 26-20. Why not, right?

We're back once again with The Crowd's Line to crowd-source some predictions. Our friends at Baltimore Beatdown are also voting, and the widget below pulls out the vote for each site, as well as the general crowd's line, and what Vegas is thinking.

I also have listed out a handful of picks from around the national media. Opinions are fairly mixed, but leaning toward the 49ers. Only three of eight at SB Nation are picking the 49ers, but at the other major media outlets, a lot of people like the 49ers this week. And naturally, all five of the 49ers.com crew remain good employees and pick the 49ers to win. This still cracks me up. I'm looking forward to them picking the 49ers to win on the road in Seattle!

This is not remotely close to a complete list of media picks, so feel free to post links to any additional ones.
