Now THAT is what I call a home field advantage! The Baltimore Ravens just barely missed a 45-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter, preventing them from cutting into the 49ers 19-13 lead. However, the miss was due entirely to the Levi's Stadium turf. Tucker slipped on a chunk of the grass as he was driving the football. He actually still almost made the field goal, but he could not get any drive on it.
The 49ers field has actually been looking really good since the regular season started, so I am not concerned that this could become a longer-term problem. Nonetheless, I'll take the Ravens missing the field goal thanks to this. Let's just hope the 49ers do not end up dealing with the same problem this game!
