The Niners recorded their 2nd victory of the season and had their 2nd consecutive game where the offense looked good. Colin threw for 340 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win over the Baltimore Ravens. He made connections with Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith all day long including a 76 yard touchdown pass to Smith. Boldin finished the game with 6 catches for 102 yards and Smith had 3 catches for 96 yards.
The Niners defense is still bad. Joe Flacco was not sacked and that makes 2 weeks since the Niners have recorded a sack. He threw for 343 yards and had 2 touchdowns. He also threw 2 interceptions to Michael Wilhoite and Kenneth Acker. The Niners rank last in passing defense and a lot of that may be due to no pressure against opposing QBs. Aaron Lynch seems to be the only player that can generate a rush.
In come the Seattle Seahawks to Levi's Stadium, playing on Thursday night. Boasting a similar 2-4 record as the Niners, the Seahawks are also a flawed team. One of their past strengths, the secondary, has not played well. They have given up 4th leads this year. The offense hasn't played much better. Russell Wilson has been forced to run for his life with his offensive line unable to block anyone. The losing team of the Thursday night game will be the last place team in the NFC West.
