What would "big changes" entail for the 49ers?

The San Francisco 49ers put together an embarrassing performance on Thursday, losing 20-3 to the Seattle Seahawks. There were a lot of problems, with the offense looking thoroughly abysmal. Once again, the offensive line and Colin Kaepernick both struggled in a big way. And once the 49ers fell behind 17-0, it was essentially all over.

After the game, Matt Maiocco said something big might happen to shake things up. I did not see it, but it sounds like he did not go into any specifics. We've got some video down below, but it cuts off before the full answer. It sounds like Maiocco is not sure of specifics, but he does have quality connections within the organization. He said something about higher ups being displeased, and it would seem to suggest someone told him changes could be in the offing.

If changes are in the cards, what do you think they would be? I don't think a switch to Blaine Gabbert would happen, but rather, maybe we finally see Trenton Brown at right tackle. Some might suggest changes to the coaching staff, but would that make enough of a difference given the execution problems?

I really don't know what to make of it at this point. Something needs to change, but are we talking about real, significant changes, or are we just going to see the 49ers shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic?
