This season is feeling a lot like last season. Reports came on Sunday reporting that Colin Kaepernick is "on an island" in the 49ers locker room and that there was a players only meeting that turn heated with Colin being the subject. The leaking of these reports seem awfully familiar to the reports about Jim Harbaugh's issues with the locker room last season. And just like Jim Harbaugh, Colin Kaepernick will probably be gone soon.

Colin Kaepernick hasn't helped himself in all this drama. Since last year, his play has been subpar. He has taken steps back in his play. He hasn't learned to read defenses and the touch on his passes is not there. Making matters worse is the fact that he's not even using his unique running ability very much. He used to fly out of the pocket when there was nothing available down field, but now he waits and waits before usually getting sacked.

In Colin's defense, no QB could work with this team. Colin will be the fall guy, but this organizational mess starts at the top with Jed York and Trent Baalke. It trickles down to their hire Jim Tomsula who shouldn't have been hired as a head coach. The hiring is similar to the hiring of Mike Singletary. They are not head coaching material. The offensive line is terrible. Colin gets no protection. Colin would be better served going to another team at this point. He looks like he needs a new start.
