Your 49er links for Thursday, October 29, 2015

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning everyone! The Pat-signal got flashed last night and I answered the call like a boss to deliver you your 49er links. Funny thing is, all the news today happened where it is usually boring: The press conferences. I'm pretty sure by now, Jim Tomsula will get his own Coors Light commercial if they ever bring back coaches talking about Coors Light (google one with Mike Ditka if you don't know what I'm talking about).

Those press conferences today were awkward and hard to read/sit through. It's obvious this season has become a disaster, but now it's just a matter how bad everything is going to get. We're not even halfway through the season and it's DEFCON 1. At this point I'm beyond curious to just how much chaos will erupt in Santa Clara before this season is over with. Grab your popcorn and 3-D Glasses, folks.  I'll be back on Saturday morning. Same Pat-Time, same Pat-channel.

Let's get to the links:

This guy nailed it: Purdy: 49ers headquarters just a big junior high of rumors and gossip

Well, that didn't take long: 49ers dispute reports that Colin Kaepernick is aloof and alone

We kind of know this already, but it's worth mentioning again: 49ers appear united, and could we a change after the bye week

Why do I get the feeling this is going to be useful for certain people on our end?: 49ers injury report: Kaepernick listed with hurt throwing hand

Rice is spot on, he was there when Montana and Young were going at it: Jerry Rice: Benching Kaepernick ‘Could Energize’ 49ers

Here is your practice report: Practice report: Hyde, Bowman, Jerod-Eddie don’t participate

Yeah, about that: Kaepernick-Bush combination yet to take shape for 49ers

This aught to be at least entertaining: 49ers coach Jim Tomsula on the Kaepernick reports: “We’re 2-5, here it comes–you know, here comes all the stuff; that’s the business, that’s where we’re at” (Kawakami)

Hey, it's not 49ers-specific, but I like these odds: Seahawks with 36.2 percent chance of making the playoffs

Really, really excited to see what Tartt can do: With Bethea Out, Jaquiski Tartt Gets a Learning Opportunity

What a horrible night to have a curse...
