I don't know why anybody honestly expected the Miami Dolphins to be competitive against the New England Patriots on Thursday. Just because Dan Campbell got the Dolphins playing up to their potential for a couple games, beating bad teams, doesn't mean they can hang with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. That said, I do like Campbell and while I think everyone was too quick to jump on his hype train after two wins as the interim coach of the Dolphins, I hope the future bodes well for him.
It's almost therapeutic to watch (and write about) football that doesn't include the San Francisco 49ers. It makes me miss the offseason sometimes, but I'm sure when the offseason is in full swing I'd think anybody who wrote those words is an absolute moron. I'm just not sure where this team goes from here, and I have the sneaking suspicion that the only thing that will be different in a couple year's time is that the 49ers screwed themselves out of a very talented defensive line coach.
Onto your 49ers links, everyone. Enjoy.
