Week 4 NFL game schedule: Game time, live streaming, TV channel, how to watch, viewing guide, announcers

New, comments

We take a look at the full Week 4 NFL schedule. We've got the full TV schedule, as well as a rooting guide.

Welcome back to Sunday football! Week 4 of the 2015 NFL season is back, following an ugly but crazy Thursday Night Football game. The Baltimore Ravens made a big comeback to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-20 in overtime. The Steelers should have won the game, but Mike Tomlin seemingly couldn't get out of his own way late in the game.

We return today with 13 different games, and I have put together a viewing guide looking at our rooting interests, and providing an open thread for the early games. Last week I put together a viewing guide that mixed gambling interests and broader interests. This week, I removed my gambling interests. I'll root as needed, but for this I'll keep it more general. Don't forget that Jets-Dolphins gets going eaaaaaaaarly at 6:30 a.m. PT.

The San Francisco 49ers kick off against the Green Bay Packers at 1:25 p.m. PT. We'll have open threads and more content about that. In the meantime, this will be our game day thread for morning non-49ers action. We'll then have another thread for Sunday Night Football.

Down below is everything you need to know about how to watch the various games. Click here to see which game is broadcasted in your region. The Bay Area gets Jets-Dolphins at 6:30 a.m. on CBS, and then Raiders-Bears at 10 a.m. Giants-Bills is the early game on FOX, and then 49ers-Packers is the afternoon game. A full day of football!

Sunday, Oct. 4

New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins (London)

Start time: 6:30 AM PT
TV channel: CBS
Announcers: Ian Eagle Dan Fouts

ROOTING INTEREST: Jets - I'm intrigued by these Todd Bowles Jets.

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington

Start time: 10:00 AM PT
TV channel: FOX
Announcers: Dick Stockton, David Diehl

ROOTING INTEREST: Washington - I'm not normally one to root for the Fightin' Snyders, but I kind of want to see the Eagles season continue to nose-dive. I'm not entirely sure why, because I like Chip Kelly. But I like it.

New York Giants at Buffalo Bills

Start time: 10:00 AM PT
TV channel: FOX
Announcers: Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston

ROOTING INTEREST: Bills - Going for the AFC in inter-conference matchups, and beyond that, I get a kick out of Rex Ryan.

Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Start time: 10:00 AM PT
TV channel: FOX
Announcers: Chris Myers, Ronde Barber

ROOTING INTEREST: Bucs - I'm down for seeing the Panthers lose that 0.

Oakland Raiders at Chicago Bears

Start time: 10:00 AM PT
TV channel: CBS
Announcers: Greg Gumbel, Trent Green

ROOTING INTEREST: Raiders - If you are already thinking draft picks, you're rooting for the Bears. But for now, I'm down with rooting for a fellow Bay Area squad.

Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals

Start time: 10:00 AM PT
TV channel: CBS
Announcers: Spero Dedes, Solomon Wilcots

ROOTING INTEREST: Chiefs - Gonna root for Alex Smith, even as he struggles this season.

Houston Texans at Atlanta Falcons

Start time: 10:00 AM PT
TV channel: CBS
Announcers: Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon

ROOTING INTEREST: Texans - Another team that can stand to lose their 0. The Falcons have won all three in spite of trailing in the fourth quarter in all three. I'm down for seeing them lose.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts

Start time: 10:00 AM PT
TV channel: CBS
Announcers: Tom McCarthy, Adam Archuleta

ROOTING INTEREST: Colts - I'd like to see Frank Gore and Andrew Luck get things further turned around.

Cleveland Browns at San Diego Chargers

Start time: 1:05 PM PT
TV channel: CBS
Announcers: Andrew Catalon, Steve Tasker, Steve Beuerlein

ROOTING INTEREST: Browns - Ever since Norv Turner went to San Diego in 2007, I've had no problem rooting against the Chargers.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers

Start time: 1:25 PM PT
TV channel: FOX
Announcers: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman

ROOTING INTEREST: Tough call

St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals

Start time: 1:25 PM PT
TV channel: FOX
Announcers: Thom Brennaman, Charles Davis, Tony Siragusa

ROOTING INTEREST: Rams - How about a little NFC West chaos? I will say that if the 49ers season continues down the drain, I'm rooting for the Cardinals to win the division.

Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos

Start time: 1:25 PM PT
TV channel: FOX
Announcers: Kevin Burkhardy, John Lynch

ROOTING INTEREST: Broncos - I want to see what the Vikings can do this season, but for now, I'll stick with the AFC squad.

Monday, Oct. 5

Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks

Start time: 5:30 PM PT
TV channel: ESPN
Announcers: Jon Gruden, Mike Tirico

ROOTING INTEREST: Lions - Gambling aside, I'm always down to see the Seahawks lose.
