We're back for another week of Sunday Night Football. The New Orleans Saints are hosting the Dallas Cowboys on NBC, with the game set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. PT. Personally, I would not mind seeing a tie, but when in doubt, we root against the Cowboys. We'll have other 49ers threads, so let's use this primarily for SNF chatter.
We almost got ourselves a Luke McCown-Brandon Weeden matchup. Drew Brees missed Week 3 with a right shoulder injury. He was limited in practice this week, but was listed as probable. The Saints are ready to roll him out there, but the big question is how far he is from 100 percent. The Cowboys almost swung a pretty sizable upset last week against the Falcons, but their defense fell apart.
I think the Cowboys spring the upset here, in part because I think Brees will not be his normal Brees self. Of course, that means he'll throw for 300+ yards and four touchdowns. But for now, I think the Cowboys swing the road upset.
