The San Francisco 49ers have reportedly brought wide receiver Terrelle Pryor to town for a visit, per NFL Network's Rand Getlin. Pryor came into the league as a quarterback, but has been working to switch to wide receiver. Getlin also reported he was in town for a wide receiver workout. He apparently has been running some fast 40 times in recent free agent visits, so there's that, I suppose.
Wide receiver Quinton Patton suffered a head injury on Sunday, with Jim Tomsula stating that he was getting tested for a concussion. Tomsula is meeting with the media on Monday at 11:30 a.m., so I imagine he will have an update on where Patton stands. If he did suffer a concussion, he will have to go through the league's concussion protocol to play this coming weekend. If he cannot play, DeAndrew White would likely be active as the last wide receiver.
I am not entirely what to make of bringing in Pryor. They have DiAndre Campbell on the practice squad, so you could just give him a look this week. They can get him on the roster for a week or two without losing the year toward free agency.
