We're back for another week of the 2015 NFL season. With 12 games remaining on the San Francisco 49ers schedule, I want them to turn things around just so this doesn't drive me any crazier. I don't think I'm asking for much. Just throw us fans a bone!
Week 5 is underway, with the Indianapolis Colts winning their second straight with Matt Hasselbeck at quarterback. CONTROVERSY!!! But seriously, these are two huge wins for them, particularly with Andrew Luck likely due back next week. But that was also just an appetizer as the 49ers are a major part of the Sunday main course. The 49ers kick off against the New York Giants at 5:30 p.m. PT on Sunday Night Football at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Once again, it is time for more predictions for Sunday's game. I posted the Week 5 prediction contest thread, so you can get all of your picks in there, but we can focus on 49ers-specific picks in here. The 49ers are once again a sizable underdog, getting seven points against the Giants. The 49ers have lost three straight, failing to cover in all three, and getting thoroughly pounded in two of them.
We're back once again with The Crowd's Line to crowd-source some predictions. Our friends at Big Blue View are also voting, and the widget below pulls out the vote for each site, as well as the general crowd's line, and what Vegas is thinking.
I also have listed out a handful of picks from around the national media. Opinions are again pretty one-sided. Peter Schrager is once again picking the 49ers this week. He is joined by Conor orr as the only non-49ers employees. Once again, the entire 49ers.com crew remain good employees and pick the 49ers to win. I get why they do it, but it still kind of cracks me up each week.
This is not remotely close to a complete list of media picks, so feel free to post links to any additional ones.
