We're back for the final press conference of Week 5. The San Francisco 49ers wrap up practice Friday morning, getting going at 11:20 a.m. PT. Head coach Jim Tomsula will meet with the media prior to that, with a 10:35 a.m. PT press conference. There is no word yet on the team's departure plans for New York. They are playing the Sunday prime time game, so they might just wait until tomorrow to leave since they are not dealing with the 10 a.m. PT start.
The press conference should be streamed live by CSN Bay Area, and you can watch it above. You can also check it on 49ers.com/live. We'll have a transcript later today. As always, we have the 49ers media Twitter list below if you can't watch the press conference.
The big questions to be answered surround injuries. Joe Staley has missed two straight practices. My guess is he ends up being listed as questionable, but we'll see what Tomsula has to say. Quinton Patton is working through the concussion protocol, and we won't get a final answer until Saturday or Sunday. Ahmad Brooks is home with his family following the death of his sister. His agent has said he won't play on Sunday. Eric Mangini left it up in the air, but I am guessing that was more just to not give away too much information. Whatever the case, I'm sure Tomsula will get a chance to address it.
