Golden Nuggets: Off To Seattle

Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from the Internet

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

After having his 1st start as the 49ers quarterback against the Atlanta Falcons, Blaine Gabbert was rightly chosen to start his 2nd consecutive game this Sunday in Seattle. Blaine played well against the Falcons in leading the team to a 17-16 home victory.

In the game against the Falcons, Blaine was decisive and showed good movement. With the offensive line having played horribly all season, the ability to get the ball out of his hand quickly and to move away from pressure really helped Blaine establish a rhythm. He will need to continue that trend with the trip to Seattle on Sunday.

This season, the Seahawks are at their most vulnerable the Niners have seen in 3 seasons. The Legion of Boom has been passed on consistently. Russell Wilson has been sacked the most in the NFL. The Niners will need to score early to get the crowd out of the game. They will have to put some points on the board, which has been a problem when they travel to the Northwest. Maybe a new player taking the snaps will generate some success.
