49ers sign Shaun Draughn, per agent

Fooch's note: Site decorum will be off in all posts for today (Monday) given all the insanity. Site decorum is back in place Tuesday barring more breaking news.

The San Francisco 49ers have found themselves at least one running back. The team has agreed to terms on a deal with free agent Shaun Draughn, according to his agent. Draughn apent the early part of this season on the Cleveland Browns roster. He signed to their practice squad, was promoted to their active roster due to injuries, and was then released last month. Prior to that, Draughn spent time with the San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs.

Draughn has not played more than a handful of games since playing in all 16 back in 2012 with the Chiefs. He has bounced around the league, and is only with the 49ers due to the numerous injuries at the position. The team was reportedly set to work out Ben Tate on Tuesday, but there is no word on that now that Draughn has joined the team. I'd imagine the team will add at least one more running back, but it remains to be seen if it will be Jarryd Hayne, or one of the many veterans out there. Right now, Draughn and Kendall Gaskins are the only healthy running backs on the roster.
