49ers-Seahawks inactives: Anquan Boldin active, Marshawn Lynch inactive

The 49ers and Seahawks will both be without their normal starting running backs. We break down the news surrounding both teams inactives.

The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks released their inactive lists for Week 11, and wide receiver Anquan Boldin is back from his hamstring injury, while Marshawn Lynch is inactive. Boldin missed the last two games, and was limited in practice this week, but is active. His return has the 49ers deactivating both Jerome Simpson and DeAndrew White.

Lynch is dealing with an abdominal strain, but played through it last week. His absence means Thomas Rawls gets the start in place of Lynch. He has looked good in a few starts, but this is still a big deal.

Tank Carradine is inactive, but Matt Barrows reported shortly before this news came out that this was expected as Tank continues his physical transformation into the more specific pass rush role. Jim Tomsula said earlier this week that Tank was down into the 280s, and would likely be losing a little more weight. This makes sense in that context.

Kenneth Acker and Tramaine Brock are both active, which means both starting cornerbacks should be back in the lineup. It will be interesting to see how much playing time Dontae Johnson and Marcus Cromartie get this week after solid work two weeks ago.

49ers inactives: WR Jerome Simpson, WR DeAndrew White, CB Keith Reaser, RB Carlos Hyde, OG Brandon Thomas, OL Ian Silberman, DL Tank Carradine

Seahawks inactives: WR Paul Richardson, CB Tye Smith, RB Marshawn Lynch, LB Bruce Irvin, C Drew Nowak, C/G Kristjan Sokoli, DT A.J. Francis
