The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals posted their practice participation reports for Wednesday, and I thought we'd take a quick look at them. There is nothing surprising following Jim Tomsula's press conference on Wednesday. Ahmad Brooks, NaVorro Bowman, and Carlos Hyde all sat out the day. Bowman got a veteran's day off and will return to practice, while Hyde is unlikely to play this week. Brooks is the one question mark as he works his way through the concussion protocol. We can't really tell where he is at until the next injury report comes out.
Anquan Boldin got a full day's work in which is a good thing. He played last week after missing two games with a hamstring strain. He was a little gimpy at times, and wore sweatpants when he was not in the game to keep his hamstring warm. A home game in the slightly warmer weather of Santa Clara this Sunday will be helpful.
The 49ers will have practice this morning, wrapping up early enough so the players can get home for Thanksgiving dinner. We should have a practice report later in the day, and then one more report on Friday. That will give us a better handle specifically on Brooks.
