49ers-Cardinals picks and predictions: Not surprisingly, not a lot of confidence from media

The San Francisco 49ers are back home facing the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12. We run down various predictions for the game.

We're back for another week of the 2015 NFL season, which means another look at San Francisco 49ers predictions. The team is back home to face another division rival in the Arizona Cardinals. The game is Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. PT on FOX.

Once again, it is time for more predictions for Sunday's game. I posted the Week 12 prediction contest thread, so you can get all of your picks in there, but we can focus on 49ers-specific picks in here. The 49ers were thumped by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3, but the 49ers also opened that game with a pair of pick-sixes, so they were behind the curve pretty quickly. This time, they are a ten-point underdog, with some sportsbooks going as high as 11.5-points. The big question will be if the defense can bounce back from an ugly performance against the Seahawks less than stellar offense. If they can even come close to containing Carson Palmer and company, then it falls on Blaine Gabbert, Shaun Draughn and the offense to put together a viable effort. I suppose avoiding a pair of pick-sixes to start the game would be a huge start!

We're back with The Crowd's Line to crowd-source some predictions. Our friends at Revenge of the Birds are also voting, and the widget below pulls out the vote for each site, as well as the general crowd's line, and what Vegas is thinking.

We have a handful of picks from around the national media, and only one of them is picking the 49ers. We've got some that have the 49ers covering, but no wins. Of course, the good folks of the 49ers.com staff are back all picking the 49ers to beat the Cardinals. They remain good employees!

This is not remotely close to a complete list of media picks, so feel free to post links to any additional ones.
