We're back for another week of the 2015 NFL season, which means another look at predictions surrounding the San Francisco 49ers. Of course, this is a particularly special week! The 49ers are hosting the Atlanta Falcons this week, kicking off on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. PT on FOX. Of course, the big news this week is that Blaine Gabbert will make his first start for the 49ers.
Once again, it is time for more predictions for Sunday's game. I posted the Week 9 prediction contest thread, so you can get all of your picks in there, but we can focus on 49ers-specific picks in here. I am not picking the 49ers this week. I suppose I should to be a good blogger, but this is Blaine Gabbert we're talking about. Of course, it would not surprise me if the 49ers managed to cover that touchdown spread. The Falcons have an impressive habit of playing down to bad teams.
We're back with The Crowd's Line to crowd-source some predictions. Our friends at The Falcoholic are also voting, and the widget below pulls out the vote for each site, as well as the general crowd's line, and what Vegas is thinking.
We have a handful of picks from around the national media, and none of them are picking the 49ers. You can probably find a few that think the 49ers might cover, but it is not going to be easy to find someone who will pick the 49ers to win. Well, except for the 49ers.com staff. They remain good employees!
This is not remotely close to a complete list of media picks, so feel free to post links to any additional ones.
