Bears vs. Chargers, MNF: Game time, TV schedule, channel, online stream, and more

The San Diego Chargers host the Chicago Bears to close out Week 9. We've got all the TV schedule, game time and odds info to get you ready for Week 9 MNF.

Week 9 of the 2015 NFL season wraps up on Monday evening as the San Diego Chargers host the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT, and airs on ESPN. Jon Gruden and Mike Tirico have the call.

This is a pretty awful matchup, although it did not look quite so awful before the season started. The 2-6 Chargers have had to deal with numerous injuries to their offensive line, and the defense is not good. The 2-5 Bears had to play without Jay Cutler for a while, and their defense remains bad. The Bears have shown some improvement since Cutler returned, but they are still a bad team. The loser of this game will climb into the No. 2 pick for the time being, ahead of the Cleveland Browns due to strength of schedule.

The Chargers are currently a 4.5-point favorite. 65 percent of the public money is coming in on the Chargers, with more of the "pro" money coming in on the Bears. I am rooting for the Chargers at -4 for purposes of the SuperContest. I don't have them, but folks around me have the Bears, and so I am inclined to root against them for tonight. The 49ers benefit either way with one team winning, even if the 49ers couldn't "help" their own draft position on Sunday!
